Independently Owned

MedCare Medical Supply is an independently owned company dedicated to providing home medical equipment, respiratory services and supplies to communities in Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois, and Western Tennessee.

The heart of our Mission at MedCare Inc. is to stand ready to SERVE: remembering to push aside our own needs and act as if the patient's needs and customer's needs are those of our own.

MedCare is not like superstores where you drop off your prescription and wait a few hours before you can pick them up. They provide personalized service fast. With unbeatable quality, they offer generic medications you can trust. If the medication you need is not in stock, you'll have it the next day. The friendly and competent staff live in your neighborhood and by supporting MedCare you receive a level of care not found  elsewhere while supporting your local economy.

We Care

With a professional and caring staff, MedCare Inc. provides patient medications and durable medical equipment to patients in the geographical region of Carlisle, Ballard, and Graves counties in Western Kentucky and Alexander and Pulaski counties in Southern Illinois.

History

Fran Sherrill purchased Wickliffe Pharmacy October 1st, 1979. In the fall of 1983 she purchased the corner lot, and in February of 1984 she moved in and has been there serving Wickliffe and the surrounding area with friendly, reliable service ever since. Fran obtained Dubrock Drugs, now called Arlington Pharmacy, in July of 1991. In 1988 Darrell Vance was hired as manager, and Fran founded Medcare Medical Supply, a division of Wickliffe and Arlington Pharmacies to provide durable medical equipment to the pateitns in her area.. On August 3rd, 1995, Westermann's Drugs was acquired and became Cairo Pharmacy. In 2010 the names were changed to MedCare pharmacy and Medical Supply.
